  On a recent trip to Spokane, I had the pleasure to meet Kelsey Doerr who is a Foster Care Recruiter with our Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program. In preparing for Foster Care Month in May, Kelsey talked about recruiting foster parents and how persons can have a rewarding experience at many points in their life. I had the pleasure recently of meeting staff member Sam Silva of Klamath Falls. He's been with us five months and he's a Mental Health Associate working as a child welfare community outreach worker in the Klamath Falls area. He said he loves his work getting people connected to the resources they need. He's a recent new fan of "The Nanny" and I enjoyed him turning the tables on me with a question.
